ZUK is a Lenovo sub brand that will be sold online only. They launched the ZUK Z1, their first smartphone in China, powered by Qualcomm snapdragon 801 quad core processor and comes with finger print scanner, 4G support and 4100 mAh battery. The ZUK Z1 is priced at RMB 1799 (approx ₹18,300).

The ZUK Z1 will be available in China for now in Grey and White colour options from 18th August 2015. The Z1 houses the 2.5GHz qualcomm snapdragon 801 quad core (MSM8974AC) processor coupled with Adreno 330 GPU.

It is running Android Lollipop version 5.1 with ZUI. This is a dual SIM handset that weighs about 175 grams with a 4100 mAh battery and thickness is 8.9mm. Screen is 5.5 inches supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. The handset is also loaded with 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.

ZUK Z1 launched for RMB 1700

A 13MP auto focus camera is packed on the rear, it’s using SONY IMX214 EXMOR RS sensor and there is an 8MP camera (Omnivision) on the front. Key feature are 4G, 3G, 2G, GPS with GLONASS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

There is finger print scanner too and another exciting thing is it houses the USB Type-C port.

ZUK Z1 is priced at 1700 RMB no word if it will be made available in other markets.
