The much awaited ZUK Edge handset has been launched in China with a price tag starting from RMB 2299. Key highlight about this edge smartphone is snapdragon 821 that it houses and 5.5 inch screen (narrow frame) with 86.4% screen to body ratio.
ZUK Edge features and specifications
This handset comes with dual Nano SIM slots with 4G + VoLTE support. Screen is 5.5 inches with 2.5D curved glass supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. Inside the hood the Edge houses a snapdragon 821 quad core processor clocked at 2.35GHz coupled with Adreno 530 GPU.
Another highlight is the ZUI 2.5 over Android Nougat version 7.0. Handset weight is 160 grams and thickness is 7.6mm. Primary camera is PDAF, using Samsung ISOCELL sensor and with a f/2.2 aperture – it can shoot in 13MP resolution. Front camera is an 8MP shooter with a f/2.2 aperture.
ZUK Edge is packed with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage and another variant comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Additional features are 4G LTE, VoLTE, 3G, 2G, dual band WiFi, Dirac HD sound, Bluetooth 4.1, USB Type C port (3.1), finger print sensor (U-Touch underneath the glass panel), altimeter, heart rate senor and UV sensor. Edge gets power from a 3100 mAh battery with quick charge 3.0 support.
ZUK Edge price in China
The Edge with 4GB RAM is priced at RMB 2299 that comes to approx Rs. 22,000 and the ZUK Edge with 6GB RAM will cost RMB 2499 (approx Rs. 24,000). This handset will hit the store in China from 1st January 2017.
