The next premium handset from Lenovo called the ZUK Edge will be officially launched in China this month on 20th December 2016. Key highlight about the Edge is the U-Touch finger print sensor that is invisible and the narrow bezel.

The rumored ZUK Edge specifications are already out, it is a dual SIM smartphone powered by the qualcomm snapdragon 821 64 bit quad core processor with Adreno 530 GPU. This handset features a 5.5 inch screen with 2.5D curved glass supporting 1080p resolution.

ZUK Edge will be running ZUI over Android Nougat 7.0. The handset will come with optional 4GB RAM/32GB ROM and 6GB RAM/64GB ROM. As for the camera there will be an 8MP fixed focus on the front and 13MP AF on the back.

Other features are 4G LTE, VoLTE support, 3G, 2G, GPS, dual band WiFi, USB Type C port and Bluetooth 4.1. Heart rate and finger print sensors are also included. As mentioned the finger sensor on the front  is integrated into the front panel, the front facing is completely black it also hides the finger print sensor module – it’s invisible. This handset houses a 3000 mAh QC 3.0 supported battery.

The ZUK Edge will be launched on 20th of this month; the price will be unveiled on the launch day.
