ZTE had launched the ZTE ZMax last year and now they have announced the ZMax 2. This new handset houses the qualcomm snapdragon 410 quad core processor and it’s running Lollipop 5.1. ZTE ZMax 2 is priced at $149.99 from AT&T and TracFone.
Inside the hood the ZMax 2 is using the Snapdragon MSM8916 quad core chipset clocked at 1.2GHz. It is running Android Lollipop 5.1 with 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM and there is micro SD card slot that can house external cards of up to 32GB.
The handset weight with battery is 170 grams and thickness is 9.4mm. There is an 8MP AF camera on the rear with LED flash and a 2MP camera on the front. Key features are 4G, 3G, 2G, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and WiFi.
ZTE ZMax 2 sports a 5.5 inch IPS screen supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It gets power from a 3000 mAh battery. There is no word as to when this handset will be made available globally.
