ZTE will be soon launching the ZTE Grand S II on 24th of this month in India. The handset will also be made available then, the company has yet to reveal the price. The Grand S II is available in China (CNY 1699) and taking clue from the Chinese price tag, it could be priced in India for under Rs. 20,000.
The ZTE Grand S II houses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8674 quad core processor with Adreno 330 GPU. It is a single SIM handset with 4G support. The handset runs Android Jelly Bean, it would be better if the company launches it with or provides immediate Android 4.4.x Update.
The Grand S II comes with a 5.5 inch IPS LCD screen supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. There is 2GB on-board RAM and 16GB internal storage plus 32GB external card support. You will find a 13MP auto focus camera on the rear with flash and a 2MP on the front. The primary camera is capable of shooting 1080p videos at 30fps.
Key features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS, FM radio, Bluetooth and NFC. ZTE Grand S II gets power from a non-removable Li-ion battery of 3100 mAh capacity. Grand S II will hit the stores on 24th and the price will be revealed probably few days before the launch.
