After the success of Zen Ultrafone 701 HD, Zen Mobiles has launched Zen Ultrafone 502 that comes powered by 1.2GHz dual core processor, running Jelly Bean 4.2.2 over a 4.5 inch screen with qHD resolution.
The dual SIM handset is listed on the Zen Mobile website with a price tag of Rs. 8,999. The price seems too high for the specs especially the dual core which we believe could be the MT6572 dual core chipset. However the price could be lower than what mentioned once the handset gets listed online.
The screen is 4.5 inches (11.43cm) with 960×540 pixels resolution. Android 4.2.2 runs on 512MB Ram and 4GB storage. Micro SD card is supported and other features are 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. There is no mention of GPS so it would be wise to check if the feature is available.
Zen Ultrafone 502 comes with 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 1.3MP front camera. There are Light, G-sensor, accelerometer and proximity sensors. Battery is 1700 mAh capacity.
Ultrafone 502 could probably be another handset with the MT6572 chipset. The price of Rs. 8,999 though not yet confirmed is too much when compared to what other brands using the same chipset / features are priced at.
