The YouTube Go app that was launched in 2016 has finally been made available in India. The Google YouTube Go app is still in beta stage and the key highlight about this app is that it allows users to download videos for offline viewing and sharing.

The Google YouTube Go (Unreleased) app is now available and can be downloaded from Play store. This apps supports English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Telugu, Bengali and Kannada language options. This is still a beta app and it clearly says unreleased app – it may be unstable.

Users will need to register their mobile number to use the app. Once done they can download videos in basic or standard quality options. For now high quality video download option is not available it might be added later on.

So you can download the videos from YouTube, you can watch them later and even share the videos with your friends so don’t need to download the same. Though the videos are stored in your mobile phone making it available offline, user will need to be connected to the net for a quick security check (small data usages – 15kb)  before they can play the video.
