Camera
The Q1010i comes with 8MP rear AF camera with SONY Exmor R Sensor. I have attached some images at the end of the review, if you compare this with Q1010 you will find that in most of the cases the Q1010i output is slightly better, though it’s not that outstanding but better than as shot using the Q1010. Front camera is 2MP, quality is okay.

Others
There is 3G, built in GPS with EPO / A-GPS support, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, all of these worked without any issues. Loudspeaker / in call speaker sound is loud and clear.

Battery
There is a non-removable battery of 2250 mAh capacity. I used the handset for 28 minutes the battery dropped by 8% and temp was 40 degrees.

Verdict
Even though the 8MP camera with Exmor R sensor doesn’t really impress, but the XOLO Q1010i is still a better option for the following reasons.

  • It comes with 8GB internal storage as compared to 4GB on Q1010.
  • The 8MP camera is with Exmor R sensor.
  • The handset is upgradable to Android 4.4 (XOLO has clearly mentioned that on the box pack).

Hence it makes sense to go in for the Q1010i, however the XOLO Q1100 is still a better option.

XOLO Q1010i best price – Under Rs. 12,000.
