XOLO has upgrade the Q1010 handset and launched the XOLO Q1010i with the same hardware but with enhanced camera. The camera megapixel is the same however the 1010i makes use of the Exmor R sensors for better image quality, especially in low light conditions.

The XOLO Q1010 is currently priced at under Rs. 12,999 and the Q1010i for Rs. 13,499. Not much of a difference but camera quality will definitely be better on the 1010i version. The Exmor R Sensor captures 40% more light with 1.4 µm bigger pixel size for exceptional image quality.

The XOLO Q1010i is powered by MTK6582 MediaTek quad core processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali 400 MP GPU clocked at 500 MHz. Handset is 8.3mm thick. The touch screen display is 5 inches supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution with 16M colors. It’s IPS OGS screen with 5 point multi touch support and also comes protected with Asshi Scratch resistant glass.

Handset runs on Android 4.2 and entitled for Android 4.4 update. The rear camera with Exmor R sensor is 8MP and front camera is 2MP. Rear camera can record 1080p videos. There are accelerometer, light and proximity sensors. There is an internal storage space of 8GB and 1GB RAM plus 32GB external card support. The XOLO Q1010 comes with 4GB internal storage.

XOLO Q1010i quad core with 8MP exmor R sensor camera

Key features are 3G (21Mbps), WiFi (b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The 2250 mAh battery can be fully charged in about 3 hours and gives a talktime of 9 hours on 3G and 19 hours on 2G networks.

The XOLO Q1010i will hit the stores soon for Rs. 13,499.
