The new upgraded Opus called the XOLO Q1000 Opus 2 is now listed and available online for Rs. 9,780. When compared with its predecessor the Opus 2 has got a new look and a new hardware.

The Q1000 Opus came with BCM23550 Broadcom quad core processor running Android 4.2 (in fact it also got the KitKat update recently). The Opus 2 however comes powered by qualcomm snapdragon quad core processor clocked at 1.2GHz and it runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box – Opus 2 might also get the KitKat update though there is no official confirmation yet.

The XOLO Q1000 Opus 2 is a dual SIM handset (GSM+GSM) and comes with 1GB RAM, 4GB storage and 32GB micro SD card support. There is 8MP rear AF camera with LED flash and HD video recording is supported. The Q1000 Opus if you may recall came with 5MP AF camera and a VGA front camera.

The touch screen size is the same as compared with the older model i.e 5 inches however the screen resolution is slightly improved to qHD as compared to FWVGA on the Opus. Additional features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi (b/g/n), GPS with GLONASS, FM with recording and Bluetooth 4.

XOLO Q1000 Opus 2 with quad core snapdragon processor

The XOLO Q1000 Opus 2 is 9.3mm thick and houses a 2000 mAh battery. This handset is now available on Snapdeal for Rs. 9,780.
