XOLO has launched the Opus HD, a quad core powered handset clocked at 1.2GHz with dual SIM support. It will run Android 4.4.2 KitKat over a 5 inch screen with HD resolution. There is 1GB RAM, 8GB storage and 32GB external card support.

The XOLO Opus HD is already listed on their official website with the price tag. This handset is using the Broadcom 1.2GHz quad core chipset BCM23550, the same that was used on the XOLO Q1000 Opus. GPU is Videocore IV clocked at 312MHz.

This handset supports dual SIM with 3G and is 7.9mm thick. The touch screen display is 5 inches supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It is an IPS display with 5 point multi touch support. Opus HD also comes packed with an auto focus camera of 8MP resolution (BSI 2 Sensor) on the rear and a fixed focus camera of 2MP resolution on the front.

There is flash support for the rear camera and it can shoot 1080p videos. The front camera can be used for native video calling. There are proximity, light and accelerometer sensors. Additional features are 3G (21Mbps), 2G, Wi-Fi (b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The handset comes with a good 2500 mAh battery that can be fully charged in about 3 hours and it gives talk time of up to 9 hours on 3G and up to 28 hours on 2G networks.

XOLO Opus HD is priced at Rs. 9,499.
