XOLO has launched another handset in the Opus series – the XOLO Opus 3 that comes packed with a 1.3GHz quad core processor and is priced at Rs. 8,499. Key highlight are 5 inch HD screen, KitKat and 2500 mAh battery.

The XOLO Opus 3 sports a 5 inch IPS screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It sails on Android 4.4 with 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage and 32GB external card support. This smartphone comes with dual SIM slots with dual standby mode.

Also included is an 8 megapixel auto focus camera with SONY Exmor R lens and dual LED flash placed on the rear and a front facing camera of 5MP resolution with BSI sensor and 88 degree wide angle lens. Rear camera can shoot FHD videos. Front camera supports native video calling. There is accelerometer, light, magnetic and proximity sensors.

It is using the MediaTek (6582M) 1.3GHz quad core processor with Mali 400 GPU. Additional features are 3G, 2G, GPS, Bluetooth, float task on dual window mode and Wi-Fi. This handset houses a 2500 mAh battery with talk time of up to 13 hours on 3G networks.

The 8.8mm thick XOLO Opus 3 is available in retail stores for Rs. 8,499.
