As promised XOLO today, rolled out Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the XOLO One handsets. Users can get the update done over the Air (OTA) or they can download the file from XOLO’s official software update page.

Surprisingly the XOLO One is not even a part of the Android One family and yet they managed to roll out Lollipop (Android 5.0) today. Users who had purchased the Android one smartphones i.e. Micromax canvas A1, Spice Dream UNO etc. are still waiting for the 5.0 update.

If you own the XOLO One you can get the update done, now. With Lollipop users will get a new feel and look, fluid animation, new themes, widgets, colours etc. With Android 5.0 users will also be able to get the battery estimated time for discharging and the time it will take for charging to 100%. Overall performance including the battery backup should be slightly better as compared when using KitKat.
