XOLO Mobiles has silently launched the XOLO A510s dual SIM, dual Core smartphone for Rs. 7,499. This handset houses the MTK6572 1.3GHz dual core chipset and runs on the Android 4.2 OS. The A510s body is with a metallic finish.
The A510s is a successor to the XOLO A500s. XOLO has given it a more premium look with a metallic body, yet keeping the price at an affordable level. The XOLO A510s is 8.9mm thick and comes with dual SIM slots with dual standby mode.
The hardware is MT6572 dual core clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali 400 GPU. It sails on Android 4.2 with 1GB RAM, 4Gb storage and micro SD card support of up to 32GB. The IPS touch screen display is 4 inches supporting 854 x 480 pixels resolution with 16M colors.
There are two cameras, a front camera of VGA resolution and a rear camera of 5MP resolution with single LED flash. There are accelerometer, light and proximity sensors. Key features are 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth.
A 1400 mAh battery gives talk-time of up to 13 hours on 2G and up to 6 hours on 3G networks. Estimated video playback time using the headset is about 5 hours.
The XOLO A510s will soon hit the stores for Rs. 7,499.
