Xiaomi today at an event in China has officially announced the Xiaomi Redmi Pro. Key highlight is the dual cameras on the rear. Redmi Pro is powered by MediaTek Helio X25 Deca Core (10 core chipset).
There is a 13MP AF camera on the back using SONY IMX 258 along with 5MP secondary camera. 13MP camera captures still images and the 5MP captures the depth. Dual cameras shoot simultaneously and image goes though hardware level processing delivering DSLR type (bokeh) quality.
Xiaomi Redmi Pro is powered by Helio X25 deca core chipset with Mali T880 GPU, comes with hybrid SIM slot and packed inside a brushed metal body. This handset is loaded with 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM. Touch screen is 5.5 inch OLED display with FHD resolution. MIUI 8 based on Marshmallow runs out of the box.
There is finger print sensor on the front, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB Type C port. Micro SD card of up to 128GB is supported. 4G with VOLTE is supported. This handset gets power from a 4050 mAh battery. Pro will be available in Dark Grey, Silver and Gold colour options.
Redmi Pro price in China is RMB 1499 (Approx Rs. 15,000) with Helio X20 chipset with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM, RMB 1699 (Approx Rs. 17,000) with Helio X25 with 3GB RAM and 64GB ROM and RMB 1999 (Approx Rs. 20,000) with Helio X25 with 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM.
