Xiaomi today at an event in China launched the Redmi 3s smartphone with a price tag starting from RMB 699. Xiaomi Redmi 3s is using Snapdragon 430 chipset and loaded with 4100 mAh non-removable battery.
Redmi 3s features and specifications
3s is packed inside a magnesium alloy body with a weight of about 144 grams (with 4100 mAh battery). This is a (hybrid) dual SIM handset sporting a 5 inch IPS screen supporting 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) resolution.
Xiaomi Redmi 3s is powered by qualcomm snapdragon 430 64 bit octa core processor clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. MIUI 7 sails out of the box with optional 2GB RAM/ 16GB eMMC 5.0 storage or 3GB RAM / 32GB eMMC 5.1 storage. The micro SD slot can be used to increase storage by attaching external micro SD card of up to 128GB.
When it comes to the camera there is a 5MP fixed focus camera on the front and a 13MP PDAF camera on the rear with f/2.0 aperture + LED flash. Additional features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi, finger print sensor on the back and Bluetooth 4.1.
Xiaomi Redmi 3s will be available in China from 16th June for RMB 699 (2GB / 16GB) and RMB 899 (3GB / 32GB) approx Rs. 7K and Rs. 9K.
