Xiaomi has already entered the Indian markets and the Xiaomi Mi3 is now launched for Rs. 14,999. Xiaomi will soon launch the Mi4 handset the Mi3 successor on July 22nd in China. The Mi4 may not be available immediately in India, but could take few more months.

Xiaomi has made the Mi4 official via their Facebook page. The specs are not yet confirmed but as per rumors this metal body handset could either use the Nvidia Tegra K1 or Snapdragon chipset (801 or 805). The screen could be 5.2 inches with full HD 1920 x 1080p resolution.

Additional expected features are 3GB RAM, 16/64 GB (or higher) optional storage, 13MP rear camera, KitKat OS that runs out of the box over the MIUI. Most likely the handset could come with 4G LTE support.

Xiaomi Mi3 has already created a lot of hype in India for its features and the price. But it is still too early to predict their success in India. Apart from the price tag, after sales support is another key factor that could contribute to the their success.
