Xiaomi today launched Mi Music and Mi Video internet services in India. These are apps for playing music / watching videos and they offer integrated streaming service. Mi Music and Mi Video are first internet services that the company has brought to India.
You will be able to download these apps from Google Play store. The Mi Music now comes with Hungama integrated, it now offers 10 million freemium tracks across 13 Indic language choice. The music app also comes with dynamic lyrics that works great with Karaoke.
Mi Video offers content from various content providers, for now it is powered by Hungama Play, SonyLiv and Voot currently, with more partners coming onboard soon. 80% of content is free, and there are more than 500,000 hours of content.
With Mi Music you can listen to your favourite tune for free, but you will not be able to download, to be able to download music you need to pay a small fee of Rs. 899 per year.
