Xiaomi today at an event in China launched the Xiaomi Mi Max handset with a big screen of 6.4 inches. This handset will be available in three variants and the pricing starts from RMB 1499 that comes to approx Rs. 15,300.

Xiaomi Mi Max Features and specifications

Mi Max is a dual SIM handset – hybrid slot (micro SIM + micro SD or nano SIM).  It sails on MIUI 8 based on Android Marshmallow 6.0. You can get it with 3GB RAM + 32ROM or 64GB ROM and another variant is with 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM. Both these variants also support micro SD card.

Screen as mentioned is of size 6.44 inches with 2.5D curved glass and supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. Xiaomi Mi Max comes powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 hexa core processor and other variant is with Snapdragon 652 octa core processor.

Xiaomi Mi Max launched in China

There is 16MP primary PDAF camera with f/2.0 aperture and dual tone LED flash support. Front wide angle camera is of 5MP resolution. Handset weight is 203 grams with 4850 mAh battery. Other features are 4G LTE with VoLTE support, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi (Dual Band), BT 4.1, infrared sensor and finger print sensor.

Snapdragon 650 powered Xiaomi M Max with 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM is priced at RMB 1499 (approx Rs. 15K). The same thing with 64GB storage and with Snapdragon 652 chipset is priced at RMB 1699 (approx Rs. 17K).

Snapdragon 652 powered Mi Max with 4GB RAM and 128GB ROM is priced at RMB 1999 (approx Rs. 20k).
