Xiaomi has scheduled a event in India wherein they will unveil a new handset, the launch date is set to July 18th and most likely the company may launch the Mi Max 2 in India, this is upgraded version on Mi Max. Mi Max 2 will be Snapdragon 625 octa core powered, and will come with a bigger screen and bigger battery.
Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has already been launched in China and its price in China starts from RMB 1699 that comes to approx Rs. 16K. The price in India will be around the same, we can expect it below Rs. 19,000.
Mi Max 2 features a 6.4 inch screen with 2.5D curved glass and supporting 1080p resolution. This handset houses the Snapdragon 625 octa core processor packed with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Highly unlikely that the company will launch the 128GB variant in India.
MIUI 8 based on Nougat runs the show. This is a dual SIM handset (hybrid slot) and includes a finger print sensor on the back and IR blaster. Weight is 211 grams, 4G with VoLTE is supported and primary camera is using SONY IMX386 sensor with 12MP resolution and f/2.2 aperture, front camera is 5MP shooter.
