The next in line from Wickedleak are two dual core powered tablets called the Wammy Desire and the Wammy Athena running on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean OS). The Desire will sport a 7 inch screen and the Athena will come with a 9.7 inch IPS screen. These tablets are expected to hit the markets on 14th October 2012.

The low cost tablet segment is getting better, it has now moved on to the dual core platform along with the latest software – the Jelly Bean (Android 4.1). The specs are good, however both of these tablets do not come with built in SIM slot, 3G can be accessed via supported dongles.

The Wickedleak Wammy Desire with a 7 inch screen is priced at Rs. 6,499 whereas the Wammy Athena with a 9.7 inch IPS screen and higher resolution will come for Rs. 13,999. Both of these tablets come loaded with 1GB DDR3 RAM for super smooth performance.
