Good news for Vodafone consumers, Vodafone will soon be rolling out 4G services in India. It will be launching the 4G services by end of 2015, either before December or in December 2015. The services will initially be launched in some selected cities.
Airtel is already providing 4G services and Reliance will soon launch the Jio 4G services. Reliance Jio is also expected to be launched by December 2015. Vodafone already got the 1800 LTE spectrum for Delhi, Mumbai, Karnataka, Kerala and Kolkata. Most likely they will launch the services in all of these 5 circles.
The 4G 1800 band is supposed to be better than the 2300 band. I am using Airtel 4G and find that 2300 4G band works well when you are outdoor, at times it does work indoor but keeps fluctuating between 4G /3G.
Vodafone consumers get ready for the 4G experience, hopefully they will also follow the same pricing pattern that Airtel had followed – 4G for the price of 3G.
