Vivo Y21 is a MediaTek quad core powered smartphone with 3G support, another handset in the Vivo Y series. This handset is now available in India for a price tag of Rs. 7,490 (offline stores) it is also listed on Flipkart for Rs. 7,799.

Vivo Y21 features and specifications

This dual SIM handset (with dual standby mode) is powered by MediaTek MT6580 1.3GHz quad core processor running Funtouch OS 2.1 based on Android lollipop version 5.1. There is 1GB on board RAM and 16GB ROM. Micro SD card of up to 128GB is supported.

Vivo Y2 weight with battery is 145 grams and dimensions are 66.4 x 130.7 x 9.2 (mm). This smartphone sports a 4.5 inch IPS screen with 854 x 480 pixels (FWVGA) resolution. On the rear there is a 5MP auto focus camera with LED flash support, this primary camera can shoot 1280 x 720 pixels videos. Front / secondary camera is of 2MP resolution, its fixed focus. When using camera you can use voice or palm to capture the image.

Additional features are 3G, 2G, GPS (AGPS), WiFi, OTG support and Bluetooth. On screen and off-screen gestures are supported, draw character on the screen when phone is in standby mode and screen is off to directly load specific application linked with the character you had drawn.

There is accelerometer, light, proximity and magnetic sensor. A 1900 mAh non removable battery powers up this handset and it should easily last for a day with mixed usage on a single charge.

Vivo Y21 is available offline and online, currently listed on Flipkart for Rs. 7,799.

This handset is pricey considering that fact that there are many handsets available in the market some with finger print sensor and some with both FP sensor and 4G LTE support.
