Vivo today launched the Vivo Xplay5 in the Chinese market. The Xplay5 ultimate edition will be available with Snapdragon 820 chipset and 6GB RAM and another Xplay5 variant with Snapdragon 652 chipset and 4GB RAM.
Vivo Xplay5 is packed inside a full metal body, sports a 5.5 inch super AMOLED screen supporting 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. This handset comes with dual curved edge screen and also protected with CGG.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow runs out of the box with optional 6GB or 4GB DDR4 RAM and 128GB of internal storage space. Xplay5 is powered by snapdragon 820 64 bit octa core processor with Adreno 530 GPU and the other variant is powered by Snapdragon 652 octa core processor coupled with Adreno 520 GPU.
The handset comes with finger print sensor packed on the rear along with a 16MP AF camera with an f/2.0 aperture using Sony IMX298 sensor and dual tone LED flash. Front facing camera is of 8MP resolution.
Key features are dual SIM, 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and WiFi. Xplay5 gets power from a 3600 mAh non-removable battery. Xplay5 weight is 168 grams and handset is 7.5mm thick.
Vivo Xplay5 ultimate edition comes for RMB 4288 (approx ₹44,300) with 820 chipset and 6GB RAM and Vivo Xplay5 standard edition is priced at RMB 3698 (approx ₹38,200) with 652 chipset and 4GB RAM. Shipping will commence from 16th March in China.
