Vivo has launched two new handsets in the Chinese markets that comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa core chipset – presenting the Vivo X6S and the Vivo X6S Plus. X6S is priced at RMB 2598 (approx₹26,500) and the X6S Plus is priced at RMB 2998 (approx ₹30,600). 

The common features on Vivo X6S and the X6S Plus are 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM and dual SIM support with 4G LTE. Both these handsets are running FunTouch OS (Android Lollipop version 5.1). Other common features are 4G, 3G, 2G, GPS, BT 4.1, Finger Print sensor and WiFi. These handsets are using Snapdragon 652 octa core chipset clocked at 1.8GHz coupled with Adreno 510 GPU.

The Vivo X6S weight with 2400 mAh battery (fast charging support) is 140 grams. X6S sports a 5.2 inch 2.5D curved super AMOLED touch screen with 1920 x 1080p supported resolution. This handset comes with 13MP primary camera using f/2.2 aperture with LED flash support and front camera is an 8MP shooter. Another unique feature of X6S is it houses AKM4375 32-bit DAC for Music lovers.

Vivo X6S and X6S Plus octa core smartphones

Vivo X6S Plus sports a 5.7 inch super AMOLED 2.5D screen with 1920 x 1080p resolution. It comes with 16MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture plus flash support. Secondary camera is for 8MP resolution. X6S Plus weight is 172 grams with 3000 mAh fast charging battery. X6S Plus houses ES9028 DAC within a YAMAHA YSS-205X audio processor.
