Vivo has launched the V5 handset in Indian markets. The Vivo V5 is a selfie centric camera smartphone powered by octa core processor with 4G LTE + VoLTE support. V5 price in India is Rs. 17,980 and it will hit the stores from 26th November 2016.
Vivo V5 features and specifications
This dual SIM handset weight is 154 grams with non removable battery and thickness is 7.5mm. FunTouchOS 2.6 based on Android Marshmallow 6.0 runs out of the box over a 5.5 inch screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and 2.5D curved glass.
Vivi V5 is powered by octa core processor – MediaTek MT6750 64 bit chipset clocked at 1.51GHz coupled with Mali T860 GPU. There is on-board 4GB RAM and 32GB ROM. Expandable memory of up to 128GB can be used via the micro SD slot (hybrid).
Coming to the camera there is a higher MP camera on the front when compared with the rear. Primary camera (rear camera) is 13MP resolution and the secondary camera (front camera) on Vivo V5 is 20MP. You can check camera samples here. Handset can shoot FHD videos.
Other features of Vivo V5 are 4G LTE, VoLTE is supported, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi, OTG, AK4376 Hi-Fi audio chip, Multi-task with Smart Screen Split and Bluetooth. Vivo V5 also comes with finger print sensor (Lightning Speed Fingerprint Unlocking) on the front, that is as fast as Vivo V3. There is a 3000 mAh non-removable battery.
