Videocon has announced another low budget handset the A29 that houses a dual core processor with 3G support for a price tag of under Rs. 6,000. The stylish looking Videocon A29 sails on Jelly Bean 4.2.2 and is available in White and Black color options.
The A29 comes with dual SIM slots with dual standby mode. It’s GSM+GSM slot with 3G support. The screen is 4 inches TFT LCD with capacitive touch and supporting resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. Android 4.2.2 runs the show with 4GB storage, 32GB expandable storage (via micro SD slot) and a minimal RAM of 512MB.
This low budget handset also comes with dual cameras of 3.2 MP (primary) and 0.3MP (secondary). There is LED flash support for the rear camera. Videocon A29 is using a dual core processor clocked at 1.2GHz (chipset unknown).
Key features are Bluetooth 4.0, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi and GPS with A-GPS support. There are 3 sensors light, accelerometer and proximity. The Videocon A29 will hit the stores soon for a price tag of Rs. 5,800.
The A29 does look quite attractive, specially the back cover that has got the leathery texture with threads just like as seen on the Galaxy Note 3.
