The Chinese markets are currently flooding up with many Octa Core handsets. The ThL T100 Iron Man and T200 handsets both MTK6592 powered are expected to be priced at $329 and $350 respectively. The Jiake V8 is another smartphone with the MT6592 chipset for $249.99.

The Octa Core ThL T100 and ThL T200 are listed on the Pandawill website. The T100 Iron Man sports a 5.3 inch screen with probably HD resolution. It is powered by Cortex A7 octa core MT6592 chipset running Android OS with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. Other features are 13MP rear AF camera with flash, OTG support, NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G and GPS. The battery is 2300 mAh capacity.

The ThL T200 on the other handset also comes with nearly same features, except for the 6 inch screen with FHD resolution. T100 is expected to be priced around $329 and T200 for an estimated $350.

Jiake V8 is another 1.7GHz MT6592 Octa core powered handset with Mali 450 GPU running Android 4.2 over a 6 inch screen with HD resolution (1280x720p). It is a dual SIM handset with 3G support. There is a rear camera of 13MP resolution and a front camera of 5MP resolution. FHD video recording is supported.

The Jiake V8 weighs around 228 grams and is 9.5mm thick. Other features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS and Bluetooth. RAM is 2GB and internal storage space is 16GB. Battery is 2600 mAh capacity. Jiake V8 is priced at $249.99.

The Jiake Octa core for example will come for $267.13 with express shipping (approx Rs. 16,700).  The T200 will cost approx Rs. 23,000. The question now is will the Indian brands price the Octa Core for about the same price or will they make it a little pricy?
