Tecno Mobiles (Transsion Holdings owned) launched a new smartphone in India called the Tecno Camon i. This handset comes with a full view display that is 18:9 aspect ratio and will go on sale in Feb, for Rs. 8,999.

This dual SIM handset is using a quad core processor, chipset unknown, probably MediaTek or in worst case Spreadtrum. This handset is running HiOS 3.2.0 that is based on Android 7.0 and features a 5.65 inch screen with 1440 x 720 pixels resolution. Now this is a full view display with a 18:9 aspect ratio.

Tecno Camon i weight is 172 grams and thickness is 7.75mm. There is 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage space, plus 128GB micro SD support. As far as the sensors are concerned this handset is packed with accelerometer, proximity and light sensor. There finger print sensor on the back.

A 13MP camera is placed on the rear with quad LED flash and the front camera is also 13MP with front LED flash. Other features are 4G, VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Tecno Camon i houses a 3050 mAh battery.

Unique thing about the Tecno Camon i is that the company is offering 100 days replacement and one time screen replacement, plus add to it 1 months extended warranty so in all 13 months warranty.

Camon i price in India is Rs. 8,999 – this will go on sale in early February and specially targeting the offline markets.
