Oneplus has launched the Oneplus 3 soft gold variant. This handset is now available for the same cost i.e. Rs. 27,999. You can buy this from Amazon.in and probably avail 10% discount when using HDFC cards.

Coolpad is gearing up to launch a new handset in India on 30th September. They have tagged it the ‘Beast among the best’. Let’s hope it really is the beast. The specs currently unknown, stay tuned for the unveiling on 30th September.

Lenovo had already announced the A7700 a dual SIM handset that will be compatible with Reliance Jio – Lenovo A7700 will support 4G with VoLTE. This handset will be available soon for price of under Rs. 9,000.

Lenovo has partnered with Synaptic, PayPal and Intel. This partnership will help enable FIDO i.e. fast identity online service. This FIDO service will help users login to / make payments using PayPal without having to enter the password, they will use their finger prints instead.

Sony Xperia XZ will hit US stores in early October for $699. This is snapdragon 820 chipset, 5.2 inch FHD screen, 3GB RAM, optional 32/64GB ROM, 23MP rear camera, 13MP front camera  and finger print sensor. 4G LTE supported and Xperia XZ gets power from 2900 mAh battery.

Huawei will soon start manufacturing in India, under the Make in India initiative. Their Flex manufacturing  plant in Chennai will start the production in early October 2016. To start with Honor 5A will be manufactured in India.
