Spice Mobiles has launched their first 4G enabled smartphone, the Spice Stellar 519. This handset comes with dual SIM slots and is powered by qualcomm snapdragon quad core processor with 4G LTE support.
The Spice Stellar 519 sports a 5 inch LCD IPS screen with 854 x 480 pixels resolution. As mentioned this smartphone houses the 1.2GHz qualcomm snapdragon quad core processor coupled with Adreno 306 GPU. It is running Android KitKat with 1GB RAM, 8GB storage (users will get about 5.2GB free) and there is micro SD card slot to add up to 32GB external storage.
The Stella 519 also comes packed with an 8MP auto focus camera on the rear with LED flash and a 3.2MP camera on the front. Rear camera should be able to shoot at least 720p videos. Additional features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi (b/g/n), GPS with A-GPS support and Bluetooth 4.0.
The 2500 mAh Li-ion battery that the 519 houses gives about 10 hours of talk time on 2G networks. The Spice Stellar 519 with 4G LTE support is now available for Rs 7,999. It still cannot beat the Lenovo A6000 plus and the Lenovo A7000.
