Spice Mi-280 is another android phone with affordable price tag and running on the Android 2.3 OS with Dual SIM support. The Mi-280 now joins the existing Spice Mi-720, Spice Mi-350 and Spice Mi-350n family.

The Mi-280 comes with awesome feature that you usually find on high end phone, however to maintain the low cost price tag you will find that the camera and screen resolution are not that impressive. But still this is a good buy considering several factors such as dual SIM with 3G support, GPS and android 2.3 OS.

Spice Mi-280 features

Powered by a 650 MHz processor and with 256 MB RAM the Spice Mi-280 is powerful enough to run the Android 2.3 OS (Gingerbread). This handset supports dual SIM (GSM + GSM) with 3G support.

The capacitive touchscreen is of size 2.8 inches with supported resolution of 320 by 240 pixels which is just okay and not so impressive. This handset comes with 2 camera making video calling possible over 3G. There is a 3.2 MP primary camera but without flash support. Another front facing camera is of VGA resolution.

Spice Mi-280 Review

For the price this is probably the best phone (if you have no issues with the Spice brand) with Android 2.3, dual SIM / 3G support and with dual cameras for video calling. The only issue is with the 3.2 MP camera which is decent enough but without flash, you need good light for good output.  The screen is of very low resolution but considering other features and the price tag this is still a good buy.
