Sony is gearing up to launch their next Xperia smartphone called the Sony Xperia TX (code name LT 29i Hayabusa) which will run on ICS (Android 4.0) over a 1.5GHz dual core processor. The TX is expected to be priced over Rs. 30,000.

The Sony Xperia TX is a high end phone supporting HD display at 1280x720p resolution on a screen size of 4.6 inches. For now the TX will run on ICS (4.0) OS and highly likely that it will get a Jelly bean update.

Sony India recently released the Xperia Ion and also planning for the Xperia SL – another dual core smartphone. The Xperia TX will sport a 13 Megapixel full auto focus camera coupled with Exmor R sensor and an LED flash. There will be a front camera of 1.3 MP resolution. Videos can be recorded in full HD and HD mode.

A dual core processor clocked at 1.5GHz from Qualcomm Snapdragon will power the handset along with 1GB of memory (RAM). This handset may probably come with 16GB internal storage (not confirmed).
