The Xperia P is an android smartphone that will soon hit the Indian markets, this May. The Sola, Xperia S and Xperia U are already available in the market.

The Sony P sails on a dual core (NOVA THOR U8500)  cortex A9 processor clocked at 1 GHz with 1 GB RAM coupled with an equally powerful GPU (Mali-400).  I am sure most of you have already experienced the power of Mali 400 which is present in many low cost tablets in India.

The capacitive touchscreen display screen (LED backlit LCD) is 4 inches with resolution of an amazing 960 by 540 pixels with 275 ppi pixel density which is just too good. The scratch resistant glass on the display will protect it from minor damages. There is another new technology embedded called the WhiteMagic which helps view the display screen comfortably in bright sunlight. To know more about WhiteMagic Technology click here.
