Sony Mobiles today launched the Xperia M4 Aqua dual a 64 bit Snapdragon 615 octa core powered smartphone with 4G LTE support for Rs. 24,990. This handset is 7.3mm thick and will be made available soon within few days.

The dual SIM Sony Xperia M4 Aqua is a waterproof phone (IP65 and IP68 certified) that delivers up to 2 days of battery backup as per the company. It will be available in 3 different exiting colours – white, black and coral. M4 Aqua is light weight at 135 grams and slim (7.3mm thick). Inside the hood it houses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 1.5GHz octa core processor (1.5GHz quad + 1.0 GHz quad) (MSM8939 + Adreno 405 GPU) and is running Lollipop out of the box.

M4 Aqua Dual comes loaded with 2GB RAM and 8GB/16GB storage plus 128GB micro SD card support. This handset sports a 5 inch IPS screen supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. There is 13MP auto focus camera on the back with LED flash and a 5MP camera on the front. Rear camera can shoot 1080p videos and front camera can shoot 720p videos. Key features are 4G, 3G, 2G, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, SONY 3D sound technology, xLoud experience and GPS with GLONASS.
