Sony has launched a new handset the Xperia L2 in India. Now this handset was showcased at CES 2018 and now have hit the Indian Markets. Sony Xperia L2 is MediaTek powered and priced at Rs. 19,990.

If the price looks high, am sure it does, then check this, it’s MediaTek powered, hold on, and its quad core, not even octa core. The price is definitely high and there are too many great options available in the market for the price.

Sony Xperia L2 specifications

This Sony handset comes with dual SIM slots and is running Android 7.1.1 out of the box. The screen on the Xperia L2 is 5.5 inches protected with Corning Gorilla Glass and playing around with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution.

Inside the hood L2 is powered by MediaTek MT6737T a 1.53 GHz quad core SoC coupled with Mali T720 GPU. There is 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM and 256GB micro SD card support. Handset weight is 178 grams and thickness is 9.8mm.

The camera on the back can capture in 13MP resolution and the camera on the front can shoot in 8MP resolution. Other features are 4G with VoLTE, GPS, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth, USB Type C port and FM radio.

Sony Xperia L2 houses a 3300 mAh battery with Qnovo Adaptive Charging support (fast charging). This handset it seems will be available in offline markets in India and will carry a price tag of Rs. 19,990.
