Sony will be launching a premium smartphone on 25th September 2017. It is the Sony Xperia XZ1 that comes packed with SD 835 processor and includes a 19MP camera with 960fps slow motion video recording capabilities.
Sony Xperia XZ1 is a dual SIM handset and is already running Android Oreo i.e. Android 8 out of the box. This handset features a 5.2 inch HDR Triluminos Display with X-Reality technology, protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection and playing around with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution.
Inside the hood there is Snapdragon 835 octa core processor coupled with Adreno 540 GPU. There is 4GB RAM and on-board 64GB of internal storage space, plus external micro SD support of up to 256GB.
Sony Xperia XZ1 is water resistant and coming to the camera – primary camera is a 19MP shooter – AF, can shoot 4K, comes with 5 axis stabilization, f/2.0 aperture and key highlight is it can shoot 960fps slow motion videos. Front camera is a 13MP shooter with wide angle lens and with f/2.0 aperture.
Additional features are Finger Print Sensor, 4G, VoLTE, GPS, USB Type C, Bluetooth 5.0, dual band Wi-Fi, NFC and Digital noise cancelling. This handset houses a 2700 mAh battery with Qnovo Adapting charging technology.
Sony Xperia XZ1 has already been launched in UK / Europe and the price is around 53K. Let’s see what Sony will price this in India.
