Sony VAIO E Series laptops model number VPCEG15 is a hot selling product in India. This laptop powered by second generation Intel Core i3-2310M Processor running at 2.10 GHz is the cheapest 2nd gen i3 available in the Indian market and already giving a tough competition to its competitors.

There is a difference when buying an i3 Intel processor and buying a 2nd gen i3 Intel processor. This is what most people do not realise and buy the previous i3 processor just because it is a bit cheaper. There is one way to find which generation processor is used on the laptop. Just look for the Intel inside logo, the second generation Intel logo is different. The image below will clear your doubt.

If you are planning to buy a new laptop go for the 2nd gen processors, they are the latest and it makes sense investing in the same. But make sure you know what you are buying and look for the logo.

Sony VAIO E Series VPCEG15 reviews

The laptop comes with a cool unique truss pattern design and is a bit sleeker.  Performance wise it does well, loading takes some time, shutdown is pretty fast. The one thing that amazed me is the gesture control feature. The software is included, when you load the software you can play music, videos or view photos and can control by using simple gestures.
