The Sony SmartBand Talk SWR30 and the Sony Smartwatch 3 SWR50 is now officially listed on the Sony Mobile India website for Rs. 12,990 and Rs. 19,990. Both the devices support handsfree calling – you can receive and make calls.
Sony SmartBand Talk comes with built in loud speaker and microphone. This band is 9.5mm thick and weighs about 24 grams. It sports a 1.4 inch E-Ink Black & White display supporting resolution of 296 x 128 pixels.
SmartBand is IP68 certified (waterproof) and will be available in Black and White colour options. It works with Android 4.4, users will need to download SmartBand Talk and Lifelog apps. There are 2 sensors – Accelerometer and Altimeter.
For connectivity there is micro USB port and Bluetooth 3.0. Colourful wrist straps are available. The band can monitor your physical activities and also supports voice input. 70 mAh battery that the band houses gives up to 3 days of backup.
Sony Smartwatch 3 is running Android Wear and compatible with devices running Android 4.3 and above. It is IP68 certified and will be available in black and yellow colour options. This Smartwatch is powered by 1.2GHz quad ARM A7 processor with 512MB RAM and 4GB of eMMC storage. Weight is about 45 grams and Transflective Display is 1.6 inches supporting 320 x 320 pixels resolution.
It comes loaded with accelerometer, compass, GPS, GYRO and light sensors. For connectivity there is NFC, Micro USB and Bluetooth 4.0. This Smartwatch can also monitor physical activities and supports voice input (built in speaker and microphone). The 420 mAh battery on the Smartwatch 3 gives up to 2 days of usage (normal usage) on a single charge.
