Sony will soon launch two new handsets the Sony Iona and Sony Neo L in India. The Ion is expected to be released in August while the Neo L could hit the markets by end of July or early August.
The Sony Neo L sports a 4 inch LCD capacitive touchscreen with resolution of 854×480 pixels. This handset will sail on a 1 GHz single core processor with 512MB RAM. Other key features are a 5MP camera and a front VGA camera. The Neo L will run on the Android ICS (4.0) OS. The device will be PlayStation certified and users will also get 50GB cloud storage subscription valid for 2 years, absolutely free. Sony Neo L price will be around Rs. 20K.
The Sony Ion on the other hand will be a high end phone with a premium price of over Rs. 30K, all set to compete with the Samsung Galaxy S3. The Ion will come powered by the Snapdragon S3 1.5GHz processor with a 4.5 inch capacitive touchscreen display with 720p resolution. The Ion will be available next month. Stay tuned for more.
