A new Android One smartphone called the Sharp Aquos 507SH has been launched in Japan by Sharp company. This handset will be made available soon by end of July (in Japan) and the price has not yet been disclosed.

Aquos 507SH is powered by MSM8952 octa core processor (Qualcomm Snapdragon 617) clocked at 1.5GHz. this handset sports a 5 inch screen (IGZO LCD) with gorilla glass 4 protection and 2.5D curved glass – supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution.
This is a Android One smartphone that comes loaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with 2GB on board RAM and 16GB storage. Users can use external micro SD card of up to 200GB. Sharp Aquos 507SH is IPX8 certified – dust and water resistant.
On the back there is a 13MP AF camera with flash and on the front there is a 5MP fixed focus camera. Primary camera can record full HD 1920 x 1080p videos. Handset weight is 135 grams and thickness is 8.8mm. Key features are 4G LTE with VoLTE, 3G, 2G, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth.
There is a 3010 mAh non-removable battery that gives up to 3 days of mixed (normal to moderate) usage time on a single charge.
Sharp Aquos 507SH will go on sale in Japan by end of this month.
