Samsung Mobiles launched the Samsung Galaxy J6 and the Galaxy J8 handset in the J Series. These handsets comes with a price tag starting from Rs. 13,990. The J6 is exynos powered whereas the J8 is Snapdragon powered. But what makes J6 and J8 different is it comes with 18:9 Infinity Super AMOLED display.

Samsung Galaxy J6 specifications

This is a dual SIM handset powered by Samsung Exynos 7870 octa core processor with Mali T839 GPU. The Galaxy J6 is packed with 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM and there is another variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM.

J6 features a 5.6 inch super AMOLED screen with HD+ resolution, with 2.5D curved glass. Android Oreo runs out of the box. Handset weight is 154 grams and thickness is 8.2mm. Rear camera is 13MP – single camera with f/1.9 aperture and front camera is 8MP with f/1.9 aperture and with front LED flash.

Other features are 4G, VoLTE, finger print sensor, FM radio, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi. A 3000 mAh battery powers this handset. Samsung Galaxy J6 is priced a Rs. 13,990 for the 3GB/32GB version and Rs. 16,490 with 4GB/64GB version.

This dual SIM handset is running Oreo. It is powered by Snapdragon 450 octa core processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. Screen is 6 inches supporting HD+ resolution, it’s a super AMOLED screen with 2.5D curved glass (18:9) aspect ratio.

On the back there is a 16MP camera + a 5MP secondary camera. On the front there is a 16MP selfie camera. Key features are 4G, VoLTE, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, finger print sensor and FM radio. A 3500 mAh battery powers the Galaxy J8.

Samsung Galaxy J8 price in India is Rs. 18,990. These handsets will be available on Flipkart, the J6 from 22nd May and J8 in July.
