The full circle design Samsung Gear S2 Smartwatch has just been unveiled at IFA 2015 in Berlin. Gear S2 comes packed within a durable stainless steel body, it’s slim and looks great. The S2 is loaded with a lot of features including Samsung pay.

Gear S2 is amazing, it has incorporated a whole new method of input, turn the bezel. For input you can either use home / back button, touch screen or rotate the bezel. The Gear S2 will be available in standard, S2 classic and S2 3G variants (will be available in selected regions).

The Samsung Gear S2 houses the Exynos 3250 chipset and the 3G variant is using qualcomm MSM8x26 chipset. Screen is 1.2 inches full circular with sAMOLED display and supporting 360 x 360 pixels resolution.

Samsung Gear S2 goes official

There is 512MB RAM and 4GB storage. This Smartwatch is IP68 certified (water resistant). The Standard version comes with 250 mAh battery and the 3G version is using 300 mAh battery. There is built in accelerometer, heart rate sensor, barometer, light sensor and gyro. The 3G variant also comes with built in GPS.

Samsung Gear S2 turn the bezel

Gear S2 is running Tizen OS and connect with NFC, Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi. This Smartwatch can monitor your fitness activities, water / caffeine intake, measure your heart rate (pulse), count steps and do a lot more.

Gear S2 is compatible with any device running android 4.4 and above – the device should have at least 1.5GB RAM for better experience. S2 will be available in October. The price has not yet been disclosed.
