Samsung launched their latest fitness tracker called the Samsung Gear Fit2, the next device in the Gear Fit series. Gear Fit2 is running Tizen OS and comes with a curved sAMOLED screen. This fitness tracker is priced at $179 (approx Rs. 12K).

This devices as mentioned is running Tizen OS out of the box with 512MB on-board RAM and 4Gigs of internal storage. Gear Fit2 is powered by a dual core processor clocked at 1GHz. It sports a 1.5 inch curved super AMOLED screen supporting 216 x 432 pixels resolution.
It is IP68 certified that makes is water and dust resistant. It can survive in 1.5m water for up to 30 minutes. Fit2 will work on any smartphone that is running Android 4.4 and above with minimum 1.5GB RAM.
Other features are accelerometer, GPS, Gyro, Heart rate sensor, Barometer and Bluetooth 4.2. Gear Fit2 gets power from a 200 mAh non-removable battery.
Fit2 can monitor 15 different activities that includes Yoga, activity on treadmill and Squatting to name a few. Samsung Gear Fit2 will be available from June 10 in 3 different colour options and in two sizes for $179 (Rs. 12K approx).
