Samsung Galaxy Y CDMA features and price: Android 2.3 with TouchWiz UI

Samsung Galaxy Y now comes with two options you can either select the single SIM GSM supported Galaxy Y or Galaxy Y CDMA handset. Yes this is good news for consumers using the CDMA networks, they can now experience CDMA technology on the favourite and the most popular Samsung handset for youths.

The Galaxy Y CDMA phone is not exactly similar to the GSM version of Galaxy Y. This CDMA phone infact is powered by a 600 MHz processor and runs on 2.3 OS. Now the processing speed is less as compared with the GSM versions which is at 832 MHz. Probably Samsung made these changes to bring down the price factor.

The capacitive touchscreen display is of same size of 3 inches with similar resolution of 320 by 240 pixels. Now the Y CDMA comes with 140 MB of memory with microSD support of up to 32 GB. Once the OS is loaded the TouchWiz user interface takes over. This UI comes integrated with social networks.
