Samsung officially announced the new Samsung Galaxy tab 7.7 tablet running on Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) with TouchWiz UX. The market is already flooding with Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1, 8.9 and 7 inch tablets and now the 7.7 inch will soon join this tablet family.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 will come with really exciting features such as a dual core processor @ 1.4 GHz, Android 3.2 and with a 5100 mAh battery that will make sure you get the most out for a longer time on a single charge.

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 has got an ultra thin design and a super AMOLED plus display with WXGA resolution. The Tab 7.7 will also be the first to feature the super AMOLED plus technology. Picture quality will be like you have never seen before, better than the super AMOLED as seen on the predecessors.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is sleeker and light weight which makes it a perfect portable device.  You can easily carry it in your purse or jacket pocket. The Android 3.2 with TouchWiz UX is another main attraction. A new mode called the compatibility zoom mode has been introduced this is basically for tablets that come with smaller screen size. TouchWiz comes with mini apps that keep the commonly used application in a tray ready to be used with fewer taps, accessible from any application.

Be it for watching movies (supports DivX multi codec) in full HD mode at 1080p resolution, working with documents or surfing the net everything runs really fast thanks to the 1.4 GHz dual core processor. A sleek design, light weight and a powerful processor does not mean that the tablet will consume more power. In fact the battery life is really good with about 10 hours of video playback. The tab 7.7 features a 5100 mAh battery.

Another unique feature of this tablet is the URC (universal remote control) function using which you will be able to control almost all of your entertainment systems (DVD, TV, Audio system, set top box) from the Samsung Tab.

For video or voice calling any tablet will require a Bluetooth device or a headset, but on the Galaxy tab 7.7 there is no need, thanks to the improved communication quality. You can also choose the receiver mode to activate private mode when in public places.

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 will come with 2 cameras of resolution 3 megapixels at back and a 2 megapixels resolution in the front for video calling. The primary camera placed at the back will also feature LED flash to get the best picture quality even in low light.
