Samsung will soon launch the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Kids, a tablet specially made for kids. This tablet will first hit the Korean markets in September and then will be rolled out in China, Africa, U.S. Europe, South America and South East Asia.
The tab has got a unique looks (check the image), attractive colors and a good grip with multiple stand options. It is sturdy, well built and also comes with a C-Pen (stylus). This tab is bundled with kid’s specific software (apps and Games) and in fact also comes with special kids app store.
As far as the specifications are concerned it’s powered by dual core processor clocked at 1.2GHz running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS. There is 1GB on-board RAM and 8GB internal storage. Micro SD card (32GB) is also supported.
The tab is 9.9mm thick and weigh is around 302 grams. The 7 inch TFT screen supports 1024×600 pixels resolution. There is a main camera of 3MP resolution on the rear and a 1.3MP on the front panel. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 supports Wi-Fi (a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 3.0, micro USB and 3.5mm audio jack. Battery is of 4000 mAh capacity.
No doubt kids are more techno savvy and almost every kid can comfortably adapt and use the latest technology. A tab for kids! Well that really needs to be tough, they drop it and at times even jump on it, when left unattended.
