Samsung has unveiled a new shatter resistant handset, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active that comes loaded with high end features – it’s powerful inside and tough outside. This handset is priced at around $795 (approx Rs. 53K).

This smartphone has got a rugged design and is IP68 certified that makes it dust and water resistant. The screen is protected with corning gorilla glass 4, screen size is 5.1 inches it’s SUPER AMOLED supporting 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution.
Inside the hood there is the well known Qualcomm snapdragon 820 quad core processor coupled with Adreno 530 GPU. Marshmallow 6.0.1 runs the show with 4GB LPDDR4 on board RAM and 32GB of ROM (internal storage). Micro SD card of up to 200GB is supported.
Galaxy S7 Active weight is 185 grams and thickness sis 9.9mm. On the rear there is a 12MP AF camera with flash support and on the front you will find a 5MP fixed focus camera. Key features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS with GLONASS, Fingerprint sensor, BT 4.2LE, NFC and WiFi (dual band).
