The year 2012 is all about 4G and the latest Android OS. There are a lot of Samsung models that will be launched in 2012; Samsung Galaxy S Aviator is one of them. This handset will be launched in April in the US via US Cellular. There is no word as to when then handset will reach the Indian markets.

Samsung Galaxy S Aviator features

The Galaxy S Aviator sports a 4.3 inch full Super AMOLED (Plus) touch screen with capacitive technology. This handset is powered by a Hummingbird CPU clocked at 1.0 GHz. The S Aviator supports 4G and runs on Android 2.3 OS. This is a CDMA phone @ 1900 MHz.

The screen resolution is fantastic at 800 by 480 pixel resolution. The Samsung Galaxy S Aviator comes with 828 MB of internal memory and microSD slot that can support external storage cards of up to 32 GB. Handset is light weight at 145 grams with 11.6 mm thickness.

This Samsung Android Smartphone also comes with dual cameras. A front facing 1.3 MP camera for video calls / chat and the rear facing high-end 8 MP camera with built in LED flash for getting better pictures in low light conditions.

Other features are Bluetooth 3.0, mini HDMI / USB slots, integrated loudspeaker, sensors (accelerometer, proximity) and Wi-Fi. The Android OS comes with many pre-installed apps including media player that supports many video and audio formats. The 1500 mAh battery (Li-ion) gives a talktime of about 11 hours.
