The Samsung Galaxy S advance GT-I9070, yet to be officially announced, has already found itself unveiling on the web and on YouTube. The GT-I9070 powered by 1 GHz processor running android 2.3.6 OS could show up at MWC (Mobile World Congress MWC 2012 in Barcelona next month).
There is no need to wait unit next month, in fact we already have most of the details about Galaxy S advance GT-I9070. So have a look at it, in advance. The upcoming Samsung model is powered by a dual core processor at 1 GHz. This handset belongs to same I9000 family and more or less resembles the Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100 and almost similar to Samsung Galaxy R i9103.
Samsung Galaxy S advance GT-I9070 will be cheaper than the Galaxy S2 because of several features that have been trimmed down. For example the dual core CPU on Galaxy S2 is 1.2 GHz whereas on GT-I9070 it is 1 GHz, the screen size is 4.3 inches on S2 and the GT-I9070 will come with a 4 inch screen.
Samsung Galaxy S advance GT-I9070 features
The 4 inch touchscreen comes with Super AMOLED display with WVGA resolution. Look wise the design is different and has got a slightly curvy screen. There is a 5 MP camera which can record HD video of 720p resolution.
Galaxy S Advance runs on the Gingerbread OS (Android 2.3) which is really outdated given that fact that many new handsets feature the Android 4.0 OS. The S advance might get the Ice Cream update before it is launched in the European and Asian markets.
The GT-I9070 comes with a 1500 mAh battery. As mentioned before this handset has got a slight design change and one would immediately notice the home key button at the bottom that has got a rectangular shape.
This device has not yet been announced so stay tuned for the release date and the price in India. I guess the Samsung Galaxy S advance GT-I9070 price could be under Rs. 25,000.
